A LITTLE HELP GETTING STARTED
Make yourself at home.
How do I get a beta account?
The beta is opening in stages. Existing invited accounts can sign in. When new signup is available, follow your invitation link or the Join Lomuco page, verify your email, and choose a username and password. The U.S. beta is for adults 18 and older.
Can I manage a band and a venue?
Yes. Create separate profiles from your dashboard. Each has its own public identity and review status. Owners can invite other existing members as managers.
How do gigs and applications work?
Venue owners and accepted managers can post gigs from My gigs & applications. Each posting needs review before publication. Approved bands and solo acts can apply until the venue’s stated deadline. Venue teams can shortlist or decline applications; acts can withdraw. These actions do not confirm a booking. Use messages to agree on the date, pay, and performance terms. Check My gigs for updates; email alerts are not enabled.
How do private messages work?
Visit an approved profile and choose Message. Send from one of your own approved profiles. Owners and accepted managers share the profile inbox, including earlier conversations. Block pauses messages between the two profiles. Reporting shares the selected message and up to five earlier messages with moderators after your confirmation. Check your inbox for replies; email alerts are not enabled.
Why isn’t my profile in search?
Only approved profiles appear publicly. Save as a draft while you work, then submit for review. Updates to an approved profile need another review before returning to search.
How does location search work?
A ZIP search uses approximate ZIP-area coordinates, not a home address. City searches match the city name. Enter a state abbreviation after the city to narrow it down, such as Sandpoint, ID. ZIP coverage is based on GeoNames and may not include every postal code.
Does a shortlist confirm a booking?
No. A shortlist, application, or saved profile does not confirm a booking. Use private messages to agree on performance details directly. Formal offers and calendar confirmations are planned.
What happens when I archive a profile?
It is removed from public search and your dashboard. The administrator can restore it from WordPress Trash; it is not permanently deleted.
What information is public?
Approved profile names, city and state, bios, images, genres, instruments, and submitted website and sample links are public. Your account email, ZIP code, manager invitations, and saved profiles are not included in public profile responses. Uploaded image files have public links even before profile approval. Upload only images and music you have permission to share.
